The Prosecutor's Office of the Illichivsk district of the city of Mariupol took measures to return more than a million hryvnias to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This was reported in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Donetsk region.
The department said that a claim was filed in the Donetsk Regional Administrative Court in the interests of the state represented by the Office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Mariupol against the private joint-stock company Azovelektrostal to reimburse the actual costs of payment and delivery of preferential pensions.
“It was established that the company did not pay the specified mandatory payments, as a result of which a debt in the amount of more than one million hryvnias was formed,” the prosecutor's office said.
Thanks to the measures taken by the prosecutor's office, the court's decisions were fully implemented.
PJSC "Azovelectrostal" (Mariupol, Donetsk region) is part of the former until recently one of the largest machine-building holdings in Ukraine "Azovmash". This is a steelmaking facility created within the holding company with the aim of ensuring the dynamically growing production of wagons with its own wagon casting.
