Zaporizhstal announced the debt of the state for VAT refunds in a billion hryvnia

As of November 1, 2015, the debt of the tax authorities of Ukraine for the refund of value added tax (VAT) to PJSC Zaporizhstal amounted to more than 1 billion hryvnia. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.

For the period from May to August 2015, the Metinvest Group's Zaporozhye Metallurgical Plant did not receive VAT refunds in the automatic refund mode, despite meeting all the criteria for this and an exemplary financial and industrial history.

"PJSC" Zaporizhstal "is a responsible taxpayer that timely and in full transfers mandatory taxes and fees to the budget, timely pays wages to employees, fulfills social obligations to labor collectives and the city community, despite the difficult economic and political conditions in the country", - emphasized in the press service.

PJSC "Zaporizhstal" as one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine and the Zaporizhzhya region for the period from January to October 2015 transferred to the local budget UAH 318.6 million, which is 36 percent (UAH 84.4 million) more than the amount of transfers for a similar last year (tax transfers to the local budget for 10 months of 2014 - UAH 234.2 million). At the same time, for 10 months of 2015, the amount of tax transfers to the budgets of all levels amounted to UAH 2.1 billion, which is UAH 1.04 billion. (2 times) exceeds tax transfers for the same period in 2014 (for 10 months of 2014, UAH 1.09 billion was transferred).
