In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, an inter-factional association "For a Free Caucasus" was created, headed by the people's deputy from the radical party Yuri-Bohdan Shukhevych. The corresponding announcement was made during the meeting of the Rada, which was broadcast online by the TV channel "112 Ukraine", the first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy.

Shukhevych Yuri-Bogdan Romanovich - was born on March 28, 1933 and is the son of the Hero of Ukraine and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army Roman Shukhevych.
