PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" is forced to make difficult decisions that are inevitable to maintain production and ensure the operation of the enterprise. This was announced on Thursday in the press service of the enterprise.
The company will not be able to avoid partial redundancies in order to maintain the stability of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, to provide social protection and stable salary payments for its employees, the statement said.
Nevertheless, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine emphasizes that layoffs and layoffs will not be massive and will not exceed 1 percent of the average headcount by the end of 2015.
The first will be "optimized" employees of the administration, as well as non-key specialties for a mining and metallurgical enterprise (in particular, plastering, facing, painting). All unfortunate people who have been laid off will be dismissed from the plant in the best traditions of the enterprise and in full compliance with the legislation of Ukraine.
Employees whose positions are planned to be reduced, if vacancies are available, will be offered the opportunity to re-employ to other jobs in PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, as well as the opportunity to undergo training in a new profession at the expense of the enterprise.
In the near future, employees of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih will file a lawsuit against the order for mass layoffs in the repair shop, according to the First Kryvyi Rih. According to the foreman of the mechanical repair shop Irina Gulyaeva, it is planned to fire up to 10 thousand people by 2017. As the head of the Kryvyi Rih city organization "Freedom of Labor" Mykola Stadnichenko informed, on December 17, the organization gathers people at the entrance and announces the requirements for the leadership.
