Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine: Russian invaders are destroying the industrial infrastructure of Donbass

The destruction of the industrial infrastructure of Donbass by the Russian invaders continues. in particular, the dismantling of the metal structures of the Makeyevka and Donetsk metallurgical, as well as the Khartsyzk pipe plants and the export of equipment of enterprises to the Russian Federation is taking place, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reported on Monday.

The Makeevsky and Khartsyzsky metallurgical plants belong to the Metinvest group of Rinat Akhmetov, and the Donetsk metallurgical plant is part of the Donetskstal group of enterprises of Viktor Nusenkis.

Khartsyzsky metallurgical plant has been idle since this summer, and Donetsk metallurgical plant, according to Donetsk journalists, will be stopped from January next year. The shutdown of the Makeyevka Metallurgical Plant was not reported.

At present, Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant (DEMZ) and Donetsk Metal Rolling Plant (DMPZ) still do not work in Donetsk. Both are geographically located on the same site with the DMZ.
