The oldest Ukrainian football club Metallurg is laying off all of its employees. On December 14, the management of the club handed over to all employees by-pass lists of workers leaving the enterprise, according to the "Mirror of the week".
At the moment, the sheets are being filled out and work books are being issued to employees. Dismissals take place under article 40, paragraph 1 of the Labor Code of Ukraine to reduce the number of employees.
Let us remind you that last week almost all the players of the main team of Anatoly Chantsev, as well as a number of players of youth teams, canceled their contracts with Metallurg.
According to Zerkalo Nedeli's information, the football club has been deprived of funding in recent months, and the club's owners have been looking for new investors, but they have not been able to find money to continue the club's existence. Already on December 17, Zaporozhye "Metallurg" may cease to exist.
Zaporizhzhya Metallurg is one of the oldest football clubs in Ukraine with a rich history that began on May 2, 1935 and ends today. The team of the plant "Zaporizhstal" at one time did not know any equal in the championship of the Dnepropetrovsk region (Zaporozhye was then part of it) among the teams of workers and builders of heavy industry enterprises.
Zaporizhzhya Metallurg will cease to exist by the end of the week
