The latest production statistics released by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) indicate that in September this year, steel production in 66 countries reporting to the Association amounted to 141.43 million tonnes. Compared to the previous year, monthly steel production increased by 5.6%. The total production of the countries of the world in the first nine months of the year amounted to 1.267 billion tons.
