Which companies have received licenses to supply gas to Ukraine?

The State Commission for Energy and Utilities has issued licenses for the supply of natural gas to Rinat Akhmetov's DTEK Naftogaz LLC and Khimvektor LLC, the ultimate beneficiary of which is Dmitry Firtash through Valanox Investments Limited, a Cyprus-based company.

The National Commission made such a decision at a meeting on Wednesday. The license was also obtained by the subsidiary company of the Swiss trader DufEnergy LLC Dufenergy Ukraine, LLC Fortex Energy CEO WOG Serhiy Koretskiy, LLC TAS Energy of the Country Sergei Tigipko, controlled by NK Rosneft PrJSC LINIK and specializing in LPG trading LLC Startnafta Ukraine ...

In general, the commission issued the corresponding licenses to 24 companies. As reported, as of November 2017, NEURC issued about 350 licenses for the supply of gas in Ukraine. In particular, large world companies and traders, such as Trafigura, Engie, MET, received licenses.

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NEURCU), carries out state regulation of the activities of natural monopoly entities in the electric power industry, heat supply, oil and gas complex, centralized water supply and drainage, processing and disposal of household waste, and also ensures the implementation of price and tariff policy in these spheres.
