The Turkish Ulus Meta, l engaged in the production of metal products for the needs of the automotive industry, bought an object in Poland in the economic zone in Zabrze. This will be another investor in the automotive industry who has bought land in the Regional Park.
One of the previous purchases in the Zabrze area was made by the Polish company Bud-Expert from Knurów, which opened there last May, having bought a highly automated laser cutting center for sheets and pipes more than two years ago. In November, the company bought a neighboring site - planning to expand its base.
Reportedly, the new Ulus Metal Polska plant will produce new car parts. Construction work will begin this year and will be completed within two years.
In total, in Zabrze - a regional park of the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEC) - 17 isolated plots have been sold so far (some of them have already been converted).
By the end of 2018, a plant for the Korean company ERAE, which produces air conditioning modules, will be built there. Another Korean company from the auto parts industry, YS Poland, decided to invest about 37 million zlotys.
