The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said it was dissatisfied with the EU's decision to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese galvanized steel.
The ministry said the EU used data from Brazilian companies, which are assessing prices and spending data from Chinese businesses in the course of an investigation, and artificially lifted dumping margins, according to a statement on its website.
The European Union set import duties at 17.2 to 27.9 percent for Chinese galvanized steel in a final decision released on Thursday.
