China's Baosteel will raise steel prices in July by 100 yuan /mt ($ 16 per tonne), the steelmaker said late Monday.
It will also drive up prices for low carbon CQ grade cold rolled sheets and coils.
For the same grades of hot dipped galvanized steel coils, prices will increase by RMB 50 /t.
The plant will also raise its electrical steel prices by 200,000 yuan.
Baosteel does not provide actual prices in its monthly ads, only increases or decreases.
Baosteel Group continues to announce proposals separately from Wuhan Iron & Steel Group, despite their merger in December 2016 to form China Baowu Steel Group.
