New Zealand media reported that the New Zealand Ministry of Health has confirmed the fourth positive test for the Covid-19 coronavirus in New Zealand.
New Zealand Steel has confirmed that the person is an employee of the Glenbrook plant. CEO Gretta Stevens said: “We are pleased to announce that the injured employee has confirmed that he is not seriously ill and is alone at home. She works directly with the Ministry of Health, and the methods we have implemented are in line with their recommendations. This includes contacting and working with those employees who had primary contact with that employee. We can confirm that the injured employee was not in any production areas of the plant or cafeteria. ”
The Oakland man is the husband of a woman who was diagnosed with the disease earlier this week. The man was with his partner in northern Italy and they arrived in Auckland from Singapore on February 25 on Air New Zealand flight NZ0283.
