China's steel production in February 2020 was 74.8 million tonnes, an increase of 5.0% compared to February 2019. India produced 9.6 million tonnes of crude steel in February 2020, an increase of 1.5% over in February 2019. Japan produced 7.9 mln tons of steel in February 2020, which is 2.2% more than in February 2019. The United States produced 7.2 million tonnes of steel. in February 2020, an increase of 3.0% compared to February 2019.
