The EU competition authority has approved a German project worth around 5 billion euros to develop energy-intensive industries, as the European economy has been hit hard by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The current geopolitical crisis and soaring energy prices continued to affect the development of energy-intensive industries. This project could ease the impact of rising costs on these companies and keep these companies' production in Germany.
