The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that Ukraine has decided to impose a ban on the export of coking coal in order to prevent the abuse and manipulation of the quality of coal that can be used to power thermal power plants during the heating season.
In June, the Ukrainian government banned the export of gas, thermal coal and fuel oil as it feared power outages could lead to one of the coldest winters in modern history.
