In the first eight months of this year, due to the military actions of Russia in Ukraine and the shutdown of ports, the export of Ukrainian semi-finished products fell by 66.7% year on year to 1.59 million tons.
Among them, Bulgaria accounted for 21.9% of Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products. Italy and Turkey were next with 14% and 12.22% respectively.
However, in August alone, the export of Ukrainian semi-finished products increased by 17.8% compared to the previous month and amounted to about 88,000 tons, which is the highest figure since the start of the war.
