However, some European countries with a steel industry may not support this idea. People in Europe could lose their jobs if sanctions are imposed on Russia's steel industry.
In March, the EU imposed sanctions on Russian steel, but some steel still appeared in Europe. Finished metal products were included in the sanctions list, but there were no semi-finished products on the list.
