According to the results of the expiration review published in the Official Journal of the European Union on October 27, 2022, the EU has decided to continue imposing final anti-dumping duties (AD) on imports of certain cold-rolled flat steel products originating in China and Russia at duty rates from 19.7 % to 22.1% for China and from 18.7% to 36.1% for Russia.
Expiry consideration was initiated on 3 August 2021 following a request submitted by the European Steel Manufacturers Association (EUROFER) on 3 May 2021. The Applicant argued that the expiration of existing AD measures would likely result in a repeat of dumping. and continued or repeated harm to EU industry.
