The European Commission has confirmed the extension of EU anti-dumping duties on imports of cold-rolled steel (CRC) from China and Russia for another five years.
This decision was the result of a review of the validity of the existing fees, launched in August last year after a formal request from Eurofer.
The Commission concluded its investigation by noting that existing duties must be maintained in order to continue to protect European industry from unfair competition.
As a result, Chinese suppliers are subject to a duty of 19.7-22.1%, and Russian timber companies - in the amount of 18.7-36.1%.
