The Government of Ukraine has announced a change in the list of goods subject to export licensing, including coking coal, which is not used for electricity generation.
In early September, Ukraine banned the export of coking coal to ensure good preparations for the heating season. The government also wanted to avoid the situation of abuse and manipulation of coal used in thermal generation during the heating season.
