According to the announcement of the Ministry of Economy of Taiwan on January 4, 2023, in order to prevent Taiwan from exporting high-tech goods to Russia and Belarus for the production of military weapons, the volume of restricted exports to these two countries has been expanded, adding categories 0, 1 and 2 of the Export Control Classification Number ( ECCN) after the expansion of categories 3 to 9 in April and May 2022 in accordance with the regulatory specifications of the EU, US and other unions.
In total, 52 positions were again placed under export control, including nuclear substances and other items, materials, chemicals and machine tools. This time, 304 and 316 stainless steel plates were also listed.
