According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's wire rod exports totaled 1.17 million tons in 2022, down 18% year on year. The export value was US$916 million, down 12% from last year.
Among them, exports to Israel amounted to 280,000 tons, an increase of 2.5% over the previous year. Other export countries were Romania (about 126,000 tons), Senegal (about 74,000 tons), Morocco (about 52,000 tons), Canada (about 51,000 tons) and the Netherlands (50,000 tons).
