From January to February, Chinese exports of steel products increased by 49% year on year to about 12.19 million tons, according to the China Customs Administration. At the same time, the export of color-coated flat products amounted to about 869,000 tons, decreasing by 1.41% year on year.
In addition, China's color-coated flat steel exports totaled about 396,000 tons in February, up 19.22% year on year but down 16.03% month on month.
As for the forecast for March, China's color coated flat product exports are forecast at 470,000 to 500,000 tons.
