Russia is considering extending the quota for the export of ferrous metal scrap outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) until the second half of this year. The quota of 600,000 tons was initially valid from January 1 to June 30, 2023.
The measure to limit the export quota of ferrous scrap was aimed at securing the supply of strategic raw materials for the domestic industry in the face of the current unprecedented sanctions imposed by some countries. .
