What are the roller blinds that have become so popular today? Just the fabric on the frame. But popularity just doesn't come. They look unobtrusive and, at the same time, exquisite, perfectly protect from bright light, are easy to use and clean. Rollers, namely roller blinds day-night - the next stage in the development of "clothes for a window". They play the role of not only a protector, but also a traffic controller: from the very name of the model it is clear that it is able to measure a certain amount of light, depending on the time of day and our needs.
It would seem that there is nothing fundamentally new in such a system. Conventional blinds can also regulate the flow of light by changing the angle of the lamella. You need to control the structure manually using a chain mechanism. It is either sewn into a special "box" or remains open. The most interesting thing is how the roller blinds are made. It is sewn from parallel horizontal cuts of fabric, and if the first strip is opaque, then the second one that follows is necessarily transparent (mesh).
How does it work?
When the roller shutters are set in motion, the strips begin to shift relative to each other, as a result, translucent slits of various sizes are obtained, which, if desired, can be removed altogether. In the morning, to get maximum illumination, you can roll up the roller blinds so that the opaque stripes are not visible. And in the evening - on the contrary, hide the "mesh".
Roller blinds of this kind are always the same type of device, but may differ in size and quality of the fabric used. By the way, about the fabric: for the production of roller shutters, a special fabric is used, treated with impregnations and compounds that prevent burnout in the sun. In addition, this material is resistant to moisture and even some chemicals. Therefore, the blinds can be easily washed with a weak solution of a cleaning agent applied to a sponge.
