Moving objects inevitably accompanied almost any type of human activity. The construction of the pyramids, the laying of the first stone roads, or the delivery of a rocket to the cosmodrome - all this implies movement, so characteristic of human nature. And if earlier these movements occurred mainly with the help of muscular strength, then with the development of a person, the ways to move a load from place to place became more and more sophisticated.
Today, the most common way to move single objects over short distances is with a forklift . The first prototypes of which were still at the end of the 18th century. The forklift truck as we know it was introduced by Pennsylvania Railroad in 1906. It was an electric platform with two forks for transporting baggage at stations.
Fundamental changes in the tasks solved with its help, as well as with a constructive approach, have not happened since that moment. There were design changes, new mechanisms for the implementation of the task, but the essence is still the same: the forklift "takes" the load and moves it to the right place.
Today there are forklifts in all countries, except perhaps the Vatican. They are also widely spread in the post-Soviet space. In Ukraine, forklifts are handled by Logistic Forklift . It is difficult to imagine a warehouse or a railway station of a more or less large settlement without this miracle of technology. However, although the essence has remained the same, global manufacturers are trying to constantly modernize and make everything more beautiful from the point of view of aesthetics.
