One of the main leather goods at all times were bags and other products designed to carry items. There are many different types of such products: briefcase, bag, travel bag, backpack, etc. Many of which also, in turn, have their own classification. Let's talk about some of these items.
Let's start by looking at portfolios. What is portfolio ? A briefcase is a narrow bag with rounded or pointed ends, rectangular or trapezoidal, designed to carry and store various things such as books, notebooks, papers, and small items. The internals of portfolios vary considerably depending on the model. Inside there are several compartments separated by a thin "wall". Usually they are open, although there are also zippered ones. Also, there may be several pockets inside for carrying small things (like a mobile phone). The portfolio is closed with a long piece of material reaching the front part. Most portfolios are closed with snaps or buttons. In addition, almost all briefcases have a shoulder strap. The main material from which the briefcases are made is leather.
Next, let's look at backpacks. What is backpack ? A backpack is a specialized bag for carrying large amounts of items. Backpacks are classified according to the amount of things they carry (small, medium and large). Initially, backpacks were used mainly by the military and athletes to carry clothing. Subsequently, backpacks became very popular among tourists and travelers and over time acquired a more modern shape. Leather backpacks come in many different designs. Leather backpacks are mostly made in small volumes. They are designed mainly for carrying personal items (mainly for people who find it more convenient to carry luggage behind their backs). There is usually one large compartment inside the backpack. Outside a leather backpack, there are usually several additional pockets or zipped compartments. Some models have special fixation straps. In addition to the standard backpack models, which are worn on two straps behind the back, there are bag models (in appearance they resemble standard narrow sports bags, but somewhat large in size). In addition to bags, backpacks and briefcases are staples and some of the most popular leather goods.
