The reinforcement contacts concrete in several ways: by friction, adhesion, compression, shear-bonding, and also by electromechanical action. For reliable adhesion to concrete, it is important to take into account the factors of friction force on the surface of the reinforcement and factors of mechanical adhesion.
In any case, when constructing buildings, only the architect must determine the types and class of these materials. The process of installing reinforcement in concrete must comply with all standards, and the future structure must be reliable and safe.
