The unified customs union has a document that certifies that the product has been tested and meets its requirements, guarantees its quality and allows it to be distributed throughout the territory of the Customs Union. Certificate of the Customs Union makes it possible to release products into circulation in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan without additional documents and permits.
The Agreement of the Single Trade Union determines that products that are imported or exported from the CU countries must undergo conformity certification, which carries a number of inseparable product requirements. Requirements are established by a special commission of the TS.
The validity period of the certificate is up to 5 years, it depends on the request of the Applicant. Products that have passed certification are marked with a certain ETC mark and this means full compliance of the goods with the relevant requirements and norms of the CU Technical Regulations.
The document, which contains a list of all goods that can be certified and sold in the trade area of the CU, was approved on June 18, 2010 by the CU Commission. It includes a list of product codes and names. With the item code, you can determine if your product is on the list.
Provided that your products are in a single approved list and you want to distribute them throughout the trade space of the CU, first, you need to obtain a CU certificate, for which you need to confirm the conformity of the product quality, which is determined by the commission. This procedure, which confirms the conformity of product quality, which has already been indicated above, is the same for all states that are part of the ETS. It must take place on the territory of the state that manufactures the products. If the process is completed correctly, the products are marked with a sign that determines the appropriate quality by the country of the manufacturer. In the near future, there are plans to develop a single quality conformity mark, which will be issued when marking all goods that have received the CU certificate.
