The band saw machine of the III-rd group is capable of processing non-ferrous metals, as well as carbon, structural and low-alloy steels of solid and profile rolled products. As in the case with the machine of the second group, bimetallic band saws are used as a cutting tool in this equipment. True, the productivity of such machines is lower, therefore they are used mainly in the procurement areas of mechanical engineering. The advantages of the machines of the IIIrd group are ease of operation and relatively low cost.
