A resident of Kharkov wrote to us about an interesting incident that happened to her in the process of buying a water filter. Due to the fact that such an experience will be of interest to our readers, we present the text of the letter in full in the form we received it:
Good afternoon!
Before entering the Academy named after Yaroslav the Wise, she lived in a small town - Melitopol. Tap water was supplied there from a well, therefore, I had no idea that it, it turns out, is not potable. After moving to Kharkov, I found out what happens. And not only not drinking - unsuitable even for washing dishes!
I rented an apartment on Frunzensky ... Whoever is local knows how awful the water is ... I asked the landlord what to do - he threw up his hands. He explained that everything was fine with the previous tenants. How anyone can be satisfied with brown tap water is a mystery to me personally! Apparently the pipes in this area have not changed from the very moment they were laid ... As a result, I persuaded him to install a water filter. Surprisingly, he agreed, but told me to choose him myself, order and pay for the installation, and at his expense only the purchase of the filter will be - that's what we agreed on.
I went to the first online store I came across, chose a filter, and agreed to install it. When the landlord found out the price, he said it was too big. I began to be indignant - we agreed! He said he was willing to pay, but not for such an expensive filter. As a result, I had to study the sites further ...
After scrolling through several pages, from Yandex I came across the Internet Alfafiltr store . The prices in it differed markedly from the prices in other stores. Immediately I thought they were selling "Chinese", but when comparing the models, it turned out that they were the same filters as the others. I told the landlord - the prices suited him. That evening I called the number from their website. Someone Andrey, in a very polite and pleasant voice, told the installation conditions, answered all my questions and even made me pleasantly happy - I don't have to pay directly for the installation, since it came as a gift for the promotion. We agreed to install on Wednesday, since the environment was more convenient for me - I had only the first pair, and for the landlord.
Strictly at the agreed 12:30, the plumbers rang at the door. After an hour and a half, lying in the bathtub, I enjoyed bathing in hot, and most importantly, clean water! For more than three weeks now, the tap has been flowing perfectly clean, almost indistinguishable from the native - Melitopol water.
