Features of the operation of electric convectors

Особенности эксплуатации электрических конвекторов

Modern electric convectors are designed to create a comfortable indoor climate during the cold season and maintain it. These devices are able to serve as auxiliary heating elements even in the presence of a central heating system. They are able to become the main sources of heat, if there are no others in the room. Modern convectors provide the ability to manually change the temperature regime or create a pleasant indoor climate using a thermostat.

How it works

The peculiarity of convectors ( link to catalog ) is that they heat cold air located closer to the floor. The air enters the lower section of the convector, where it heats up and then moves upwards. Warm air masses leaving the convector cool down, go down, and the process is repeated over and over again. Modern devices are characterized by reliable operation, so they perform their tasks for a long time without fail.

Advantages

Electric convectors have certain advantages, dictated by the peculiarity of their design:

- the premises are heated in the shortest possible time;

- and the device does not require special care or constant supervision;

- the built-in thermostat provides the ability to regulate the temperature of the heating elements, due to which the convectors can be used on different planes;

- warming up the protective coating of the device to 60 degrees Celsius eliminates the possibility of getting burns, and smooth lines in the design provide opportunities for installation in children's rooms;

- it is permissible to install convectors in rooms characterized by high humidity, special models are produced for these purposes;

- the device heats up the air without burning or drying oxygen;

- the absence of a fan in the design guarantees exceptional noiseless operation of the device.

Where and how to install the convector?

The issue of choosing a place for mounting the convector cannot be called fundamental, although at first glance it may seem different. The device can be placed anywhere in the room, although most people prefer to install it under a window. The height of the wall convector is usually up to 45 cm, and the floor versions are narrower, while elongated, their height is up to 20 cm. Usually, the wall models have a noticeably higher heating power than the floor ones. A feature of floor models is a more efficient and uniform heating of the air. The requirements for installation are much stronger for floor-standing models than for wall-mounted ones.
