During 2015, according to the report of the State Statistics Service, construction organizations and enterprises of Ukraine carried out construction and installation work in the amount of UAH 55.9 billion. Despite inflationary processes, this amount was 14.9 percent lower than a year earlier. Meanwhile, construction volumes jumped 36.9 percentage points in December from the previous month.
Last year, over UAH 28.0033 billion was spent on the construction of buildings and structures of various kinds, including the amount of UAH 13.5482 billion. - for residential properties, UAH 14.4191 billion. - for non-residential. Relatively high volumes of construction during 2015 were observed in Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk region, where there is also a higher demand for bricks and building materials, as reported by http ://inko.dp.ua/kirpich/.
At the same time, UAH 11.689 billion was spent on the attraction of 2015 in Kiev and the region for construction work, which is 16.6 percent less in annual comparison. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, UAH 5.5698 billion was spent on construction, which, according to the State Statistics Service, is 11.9 percent higher than in 2014.
The volume of new construction and reconstruction of facilities reached 80.1 percent of the total volume of construction work performed. Major repairs accounted for 11.8 percent of the total, while ongoing repairs fell to 8.1 percent. The construction of engineering complexes cost more than UAH 27.9140 billion.
At the same time, the State Statistics Service focuses on a significant increase in prices for construction and installation work in 2015 compared to 2014. The rise in price was more than 27 percent. According to the State Statistics Service, the greatest increase in the price of work on the installation of pipelines, the construction of power lines and various communications has increased in Ukraine, having increased in price by more than 34 percent. At the same time, non-residential construction works rose in price by 28.2 percent, and the construction of residential buildings increased in price by 24.2 percent last year. The least growth in prices at the annual level was in the field of industrial construction. Throughout 2015, there was a rise in prices for all construction and installation work.
