The production technique of rolled metal has changed over time, until it became almost perfect. Over the long history of the rolling industry, powerful, precise and highly productive machine tools have been created, as well as the production method itself has been perfectly honed. Thanks to it, the metal is fed automatically, which saves the efforts of workers and speeds up the process itself. Blooming was later developed. It consists of two beds, which are equipped with a pair of shafts. The top roller can move up and down, changing its position in height. The blooming shafts are driven by an electric motor. Now the metal ingot is automatically fed directly to the shafts. When it comes in contact with their top, they pinch and deform it, squeezing and pulling, and then releasing it to the other side. Thus, it becomes thinner. Then the gap between the rollers decreases, and they begin to rotate in the other direction. The workpiece itself is again fed to the machine, but from the other side of it, and the process is repeated again until it receives the specified dimensions.
