LED is a semiconductor that directly converts electrical current into light radiation. The first monochrome LEDs appeared in the 60s. They were used in the backlighting of monochromatic boards and used in the work of traffic lights. Now, progress has made great strides, and LED lighting is ubiquitous. Thanks to their low energy consumption and the highest power, LEDs have found their place in almost all areas of our life. It can be concluded that modern production widely uses industrial led lamps , and the sphere of services and advertising is unthinkable without the use of LEDs. Today it is one of the most economical radiation sources, gaining more and more popularity.
So where are they used?
LEDs differ in power, brightness level, spectrum and size. Depending on the properties, their scope is determined. Let's list the main directions of using LEDs.
Home and street lighting. LED lamps provide 10 times more power than incandescent lamps and 2 times higher than fluorescent lamps, while significantly lower energy costs.
Interior design (for example, lighting in the kitchen or bathroom) and landscape design (lighting for garden paths). This solution looks very impressive in the dark.
Decorative lighting for shops (showcase lighting). Especially relevant for places where there are problems with electricity.
Automotive. Namely: interior trim, dashboard, exterior trim (headlights, indicators).
Household appliances and electronics. These include the backlighting of phones, TVs, indicators on the panel of a microwave oven and washing machine, digital cameras.
Advertising sphere. These are various signs, street boards, billboards.
