The State Statistics Service notes that every year wholesale and retail trade enterprises donate almost as much money to the state budget as the mining industry.
Sales in online stores have also grown. So for the first quarter of this year, retail sales of goods via the Internet reached 341.7 million hryvnia, which is 0.36% of the total retail turnover. This figure is 61% more than in the same period last year.
