Accurate determination of the pressure of certain types of gases in a rarefied environment is required to control technological processes related to the specifics of production or laboratory tests. An electronic measuring device such as meradat vacuum gauge has a narrow specialization. It is used to measure the pressure of nitrogen and discharged dry air mixture. Used in industrial or research vacuum systems.
Design and separation according to the principle of operation
Electronic vacuum gauges include a digital control unit and a gauge transducer. In practical and scientific activities, 2 main types are used:
- Thermal - designed for measuring residual vacuum pressure in various systems. Depending on the modification, it can have one input through which a manometric sensor is connected (its type is selected depending on the type of vacuum installation), compatible with thermocouple (PMT-2 and PMT-4M) or thermistor (PMT-6-3M-1) models. Equipped with 2 blocking channels, which are relays for adjustment.
- Combined ionization with heat - serves to measure pressure and is entered in the state register of measuring instruments. Equipped with and compatible with similar converters as thermal models. It has 5 relay outputs for signaling when a critical or required pressure is reached, a current analog output and random access memory. The ionization transducer can be used in automatic or manual mode.
Meradat vacuum gauges can indicate pressure in mm Hg or Pascals, depending on the operator's settings and transmit the readings to a liquid crystal indicator.
