Modern building materials are very interesting for their variety. Many new, high quality, cheaper ones. They are constantly being improved, like construction technologies, tools, new opportunities are opening up. This can be seen when you look at only the houses and neighborhoods that have been erected as if they were toys. Beautiful, colorful, they delight with their cheerfulness, accuracy. First of all, the eye is captured by the bright roofs, which make the houses look like multi-colored russula. These roofs are made of roofing iron.
Roofing iron is a generalized name for such types of galvanized steel as corrugated board, metal siding, metal tiles. High-quality polymer coating of galvanized sheet performs mainly a protective function for metal: protects against corrosion, temperature changes, precipitation, etc. The technology of application on steel sheet, usually galvanized on both sides, provides for the initial treatment of the sheet with an anti-corrosion agent. After that, a layer of primer is applied, and only then a polymer coating follows, which makes the steel not only more durable, beautiful, but also more durable.
There are the following types of polymer coatings:
Plastisol - most effectively protects the steel sheet from the negative influence of external factors. A modified connection of polyvinyl chloride with plasticizers, due to which the quality of the connection of the polymer coating and metal is improved. The thickness of the "Plastisol" coating is quite large - 200 microns, which protects the steel sheet well from mechanical damage and is convenient when installing products from it. Surfaces with such a coating seem to be pierced with thin threads and resemble leather, tree bark. They tend to lose color over time, so it is better to choose products in light colors.
Polymer coating Prism. Reflective polymer coating with high retention of metallic color, anti-corrosion resistance, long service life.
Pural coating with a thickness of about 50 microns. The color range is quite moderate, but very high quality allows the use of products with such a coating for thirty years or more. Resistant to chemicals.
Matt polyester. Matt finish similar to natural tiles. Thickness - 35 microns, which provides fairly good strength and resistance to deformation. The service life of the products is about 15 years.
Glossy polyester. Economical, but also the thinnest coating with a thickness of 25 microns, a wide range of colors. In order not to damage the coating, you need to handle it carefully and carefully during transportation and installation. The service life of the products is 10-15 years.
