Milling work is a mechanical method of processing metal parts by cutting off the surface layer from them with a milling cutter. We carry out all types of milling work, manufacturing parts of different shapes and from different alloys: under the shape of rotation (cylindrical), with recesses or ledges, with through holes on the plane of the metal sheet, with projections and notches-grooves.
Also, CNC metal milling can be a finishing treatment of metal surfaces: both large planes and ends, edges, cuts, etc. On milling machines, you can process both rolled metal (sheet or cylindrical) and blank products - that is, preliminary blanks of any objects or parts that were obtained thanks to other technologies and tools for metalworking and metal cutting. The machines allow to produce CNC milling for aluminum, steel alloys and some other metals.
If the customer needs CNC metal milling (Dnipro, Kiev, other cities of Ukraine), he must provide a technical description, a 3D model or a two-dimensional drawing of the part that he needs to get from the workpiece. Based on this technical assignment, a program for a CNC machine is being written.
Why is CNC milling an advantage?
Numerical control (CNC) on milling equipment allows solving a number of important production problems, as a result of which productivity increases, and the cost of the process (and, accordingly, the cost of work for the customer) decreases. The benefits include:
- The CNC machine requires minimal human intervention, which saves labor.
- Saves floor space - because one CNC machine is equal in productivity to several conventional, manual machines.
- The quality of parts processing increases, the percentage of manufacturing defects is significantly reduced - since the human factor is minimized.
- Reducing the cost of various resources (human labor, electricity, etc.) for the production of one part leads to a decrease in its cost.
- The CNC can be used to centrally control the operation of several milling machines.
- There are 2-, 3- and multi-axis machines that allow you to machine a part in multiple planes.
How is the debugging and adjustment of the CNC milling machine carried out?
A significant advantage of CNC machines is the ability to self-adjust. Launch first
