Independent gas supply is becoming increasingly popular. It is in demand both in industry and in the private housing sector. In this area, gas tanks are actively used - reservoirs in which liquefied hydrocarbon gas is stored. They are produced specifically for autonomous gas pipeline systems. Gas in these containers is stored in liquid form, and consumers receive it in the steam component. The transformation takes place by evaporation of the elements of the gas placed in the tank.
Domestic gas tank are manufactured according to standard designs that were created in accordance with standard norms and requirements. The production process consists in the manufacture of a cylindrical body formed from high quality sheet steel.
Characteristics of domestic gas tanks
May vary depending on conditions of use and individual needs of the customer. The manufacturing process is quite laborious and not simple. To make a good quality product you need:
- Strong material, namely steel marked 09G2S. Its main features and technological properties: excellent wear resistance, easy and convenient weldability, ductility, resistance to mechanical damage and temperature extremes. Steel of this grade is low-alloy, carbon, structural.
- Solid bottom. Flanking is used for its manufacture. This method is versatile in making products of various shapes. A precise technique allows you to create products that are perfect in their design.
- Epoxy two-level coating. It is necessary for the long-term protection of the metal structure. This coating is characterized by a low volatile content, which makes it firm in humid environments. Therefore, epoxy-coated gas tanks can be used in areas where there is groundwater.
- Quality fittings designed to work with liquefied gas.
- A polyethylene casing and a sturdy cover that can support an average person's weight.
- Modern methods of welding and assembly (rolling) of metal structures.
