Stages of water supply system installation
The device of an individual water supply system is carried out in several main stages:
- measurements, object study and calculation of water consumption;
- create a project;
- well drilling;
- installation of the pump and pipes, arrangement of the pumping station, starting the pumping station;
- outdoor piping and excavation work.
If necessary, the boiler /pumping room in the building is equipped, a storage tank, a booster pump, water heating devices and filtration systems are installed. Internal routing of pipelines and connection of water points (mixers) are being carried out.
The water supply scheme can have many options: from simple wiring and connection to the central water supply to a completely autonomous system. The most difficult option is with a water intake in a well, water storage tanks and a second pump in the building. But with this option of water supply, water will be available even with a power outage.
The simplest part of the project is the design and installation of hot and cold water distribution inside the building. For wiring in a private house, calculations are not required, you just need to choose the material of the pipes, lay the network in the best way, connect faucets and shut-off valves.
The arrangement of external networks is somewhat more complicated - it is necessary to lay pipes below the freezing level or insulate the pipes, arrange a well at the point of connection to the public water supply.
It is much more difficult to design and install a pumping station. It is quite difficult to correctly calculate the power and head of the compressor. It may be necessary to build an insulated compressor room.
Well drilling and casing installation is a technically difficult job and requires the involvement of good specialists. There are difficulties in arranging a pumping (boiler room) in a house. Correct piping of all tanks, filters, water heaters and boilers is important.
Stages of sewerage installation
The fundamental difference between sewerage systems and water supply is that wastewater usually flows under the influence of gravity and does not require the installation of pumps.
