Such pumps are used to supply water to the surface from an underground source, for example, an artesian well. A cylindrical unit made in a stainless steel casing is immersed in a liquid, which will be pumped to the surface. The same liquid also cools it during operation. However, thanks to an accessory such as a cooling jacket, the borehole pump can also be installed on the surface. The impeller of the SQ pump is made of a synthetic material, polyamide, which is extremely durable and non-corrosive, which significantly extends the life of the pump.
