Cleanup in Alamedin gorge
Volunteers and caring residents of the city held a clean-up day in the Alamedin Gorge, during which about 49 bags of household waste were collected. This is rubbish that was left by tourists vacationing there.
The main feature of such subbotniks is the fact that during the cleaning process the garbage is divided into categories. Separate waste collection today is quite often practiced not only by enterprises, but also by residents of the country. Different types of waste are categorized and collected in containers. So, you can separate glass, paper, plastic. All collected separate waste can be returned for recycling to collection points.
At the cleanup, 12 bags were collected, which contained plastic items. Also, environmental volunteers collected 27 kilograms of glass items. All this was transferred to the collection and sorting point.
The message says that about 80% of the waste collected in the gorge is no longer subject to recycling. Therefore, most of the bags were taken to the landfill in Bishkek.
A tree was blown down in Bishkek
According to an Internet user, a tree was blown down in Bishkek by the wind. This is evidenced by a photograph posted on the network. The municipality noted that there was a seller of drinks and a buyer at this place. They were hit by a falling tree branch. An ambulance was called to the scene and wanted to hospitalize the victims. However, they refused.
Another tree was also blown down by the wind near the White House. Bishkek Mayor's Office commented that casualties were avoided. The tree has already been removed and does not interfere with the movement of people and transport. So far, it is impossible to get an exact answer to the question of the number of fallen trees due to wind. At the moment, work is underway in all areas.
It is worth noting that the roof of a multi-storey building was torn off the day before. Strong gusts of wind can also be called the cause of the accident. By a lucky coincidence, victims were also avoided. Earlier in social networks it was noted about sawing birch on Erkindik Boulevard. Sawing was carried out on dry trees that could harm the residents of the city during the wind - according to the site manas.news .
