Plastic bottle or can
Perhaps this is the simplest and most reliable way. But, in addition to the capacity, it is still necessary to use tubes. To make a simple yet fully functional machine, you will need the following consumables:
- Some aluminum food foil.
- Liter plastic or tin can of at least 500 ml.
- Polymer or silicone hose.
- A beer or soft drink can.
- Cutting tool (utility or kitchen knife).
- Sealing material (glue gun is ideal).
The hardest thing to find in your home is a suitable plastic tube. Quite often it is used in kitchen appliances, hand-held appliances. In medical accessories (inhaler or nebulizer). You can borrow it to create a hookah for a while, or later replace it with a new one.
Manufacturing principle
Before starting the manufacturing process, you need to make sure that you have everything you need at hand. This not only simplifies the work, but also minimizes the time before lighting the first portion of tobacco for a homemade hookah. It is worth adhering to the following algorithm:
- cut half of the aluminum can so that the rest is not damaged;
- in a plastic bottle make a hole for the hose at the top, about 15 cm from the neck;
- insert plastic tube and seal;
- in the half of an aluminum can on the bottom make a hole of the correct shape for a small piece of plastic tube;
- put an aluminum can over the neck of a plastic bottle and insert a tube inside;
- seal the connection;
- Turn the other half of an aluminum can with small holes upside down and attach it to the already created structure.
By and large, the hookah is ready. It is only necessary to prepare it for smoking. In a plastic bottle, fill halfway with water. Pour a portion of tobacco into the upper half of the aluminum can. Cover with a piece of food grade aluminum and put ember on top of it. After warming up, the structure can be used like a regular hookah.
