In the world of modern technology, you can notice that most people believe that the sleep system unit that is located in the room must be installed on the wall. Yes, indeed, this type of air conditioner installation is the most profitable from an installation point of view. However, situations are completely different. And sometimes, for a variety of reasons, this type of installation is technologically unattainable or simply impractical. And this is where experts recommend using a ceiling split system. And this type of air conditioning will perform its function just as well.
Let's talk a little about what types of ceiling air conditioners there are. There are three options in total: cassette, duct and floor-ceiling. It should be noted that all versions of such systems evenly distribute air throughout the room and at the same time have a gentle effect on the human body.
Ceiling cassette split systems are the best solution for spacious rooms. But there is one important condition: the height of the suspended ceilings must be at least 3 meters. When installing this type of ceiling air conditioner, its two units are connected to each other by a pipeline. At the same time, the indoor unit will be built into the ceiling space. The advantage of a cassette ceiling air conditioner is that it has the ability to supply air to all four directions. This becomes possible due to the fact that the heat exchanger in the module, which is located in the room, is installed around the entire perimeter. And it is precisely thanks to this feature that a cassette air conditioner has the ability to distribute air masses over a much larger space than a wall-mounted split system can do.
The second option is ceiling duct split systems. Such systems should be installed in rooms where there are suspended ceiling structures or ceilings made of plasterboard. Behind such ceilings, frames with air ducts must be placed. As a rule, for this type of air conditioner, the channels end with diffuser grilles, which are designed to suck in air masses. The advantage of a ceiling-mounted duct air conditioner is that it is equipped with additional devices such as a heater and a recuperator. The second is used in situations where it is necessary to use both air conditioning and ventilation.
And the last option is floor-ceiling split systems. Such air conditioners are currently the most versatile, because they can be used for two types of installation. This means horizontal or vertical installation. In the first and second types of placement, the housing can be recessed half into the ceiling or wall. Of course, the location of the block depends on the shape of a particular room. It is also very important to take into account the efficiency and comfort of use, and do not forget to act for aesthetic reasons.
