The state-owned Turkish corporation Aselsan has created the latest electronic warfare system KORAL, which has been transferred to the Turkish Air Force. It is reported by the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber.
The KORAL mobile ground-based electronic suppression station has become the newest addition to Turkey's electronic warfare arsenal. This electronic protection system is designed for active electronic suppression and jamming of modern enemy radar systems. The KORAL system captures and disables missiles, aircraft and radars.
According to Turkish specialists, such electronic warfare means can suppress the signals of the radar radars of the Russian S-400 systems, "blinding" them.
