The energy ministries of Russia and Belarus have been instructed to submit proposals to change the price formula for Russian gas, as said by the Minister of Energy of Belarus Vladimir Potupchik.
“Serious work is underway with the Russian side on this issue. The other day it was discussed during the meeting of the prime ministers of Belarus and Russia. It was decided to instruct the relevant ministries, namely the energy ministries of the two countries, to consider the arguments of each of the parties and make proposals to the prime ministers for a decision, ”Vladimir Potupchik said.
Now Belarus buys gas at a price of $ 142.37 per 1,000 cubic meters. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko expressed the opinion that there are significant grounds for reducing the price of Russian gas.
