Ukraine plans to participate in the modernization of Iran's energy

Iran and Ukraine have reached an agreement on the participation of Ukrainian companies in the modernization of the Iranian energy infrastructure, according to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

The report says that Ukraine and Iran have agreed to start work on projects under which Ukrainian enterprises will participate in the modernization of Iranian energy infrastructure and heat and hydro generation facilities. We are talking about the construction and modernization of power grids.

In addition, it is reported that during the meeting of the commission, the possibility of attracting Ukrainian specialists for the maintenance, modernization and safety of the Bushehr nuclear power plant was discussed.

At the same time, the Iranian side also expressed its readiness to participate in the modernization of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, ensuring the supply of oil to Odessa and gas from South Pars in Iran through Turkey and Ukraine to Europe.
