The EEC has introduced duties for 5 years at a rate of 9-11 percent on the import of Ukrainian-made steel bars. In particular, an individual duty of 10.11 percent of the customs value is set for the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant, for ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih - 9.32 percent. For other manufacturers, the tariff will be 10.11 percent of the customs value.
The decision will take effect upon the expiration of 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
The dumping investigation began in November 2013, when the supply of Ukrainian bar to the Russian Federation reached almost a million tons. However, today this metal product is practically not imported by Russian companies.
Kazakhstan opposed the introduction of anti-dumping duties.
