The foundry production of the world has maintained an upward trend for many years. Even during the economic crisis, global production of castings increased by more than 30 percent, including castings from iron, steel and aluminum alloys.

The world's leading manufacturer of castings is consistently China, with a production share of 44 percent. The second place in the ranking of the largest manufacturers is occupied by the United States with a share of more than 10 percent in the world production of castings. India is the third largest producer of castings in the world and currently accounts for almost 10 percent of the world market.

Based on an analysis of current data, most of the Moore countries reported increases in production in recent years, with China accounting for the bulk of the growth in global production, increasing output by 3.8 percent. Among the world's top economies, growth was also recorded by India (2.2 percent), Germany (1.2 percent), Russia (2.4 percent), South Korea (2.7 percent), Italy (2.7 percent) and significantly Turkey.
